Community Event Volunteer Application

Within Port Moody's Cultural Services Department we have a variety of opportunities for volunteers to help out with our city wide events such as Canada Day, Car Free Day, Cheer at the Pier and CPKC Holiday Train.

Please read the event descriptions below for upcoming special events in need of volunteers this summer.

Canada Day

City of Port Moody will celebrate Canada Day connecting with family, friends, and neighbours at Rocky Point Park (2800 block Murray Street) on Monday July 1, 2024. This event will feature great music, family fun, and creative crafts as part of the Golden Spike Days Festival.

Car Free Day

Port Moody's Car-Free Day takes over St. Johns Street on Sunday August 18, 2024. We close five blocks and have a huge street celebration, filled with local businesses, musicians, green transportation displays, delicious food, and a family-friendly activities.
