Within Port Moody's Cultural Services Department we have a variety of opportunities for volunteers to help out with our city wide events such as Canada Day, Car Free Day, Cheer at the Pier and CPKC Holiday Train.

Holiday Cheer at the Pier - Saturday, November 30, 2024

Join us at Port Moody's iconic pier for Holiday Cheer at the Pier. Enjoy the twinkling lights, sing along with carolers, and play festive games! A great night to kick off the holiday season.

Volunteer roles include Event Set Up, Event Tear Down, Event Ambassadors (e.g. Information Booths), Stage Runners, Activity Zone Helpers and More!

CPKC Holiday Train - December, 2024 date TBD

The CPKC Holiday Train event in Port Moody in December, is a festive celebration featuring outdoor activities like live music, a bonfire, and the arrival of the Holiday Train, as well as indoor family-friendly activities such as crafts, playtime, and a Holiday Spectacular performance. Volunteers will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and support various activities, including food donation collection, assisting with crafts, and guiding attendees through the event.
